Reservation
Should you be arriving on an early morning flight, you need to book for the day prior to your arrival in order to have the room available otherwise:
- Check-in is available from 2pm on the day of arrival.
- Check-out is 10am on the day of departure.
Early check-in and /or late check-out is by arrangement only and may incur and additional charge.
Credit cards will be charged from 5.00 pm on day of arrival to guarantee validity. If a credit card is declined for whatever reason we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
At check in a credit card must be provided to cover all charges incurred. Alternatively a $300.00 bond will be required.
General: Visitors are permitted at the management's discretion and must leave by 10.00pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest.
Reservations are only valid for the dates as booked and for the number of people indicated. We reserve the right to have periods of minimum stays, and a maximum number of guests in all rooms.
Cancellation Policy: A cancellation fee of the total tariff will apply if you fail to cancel your reservations by 2.00 pm prior to the day of your expected arrival (24 hours notice). Failure to cancel a booking prior to arrival will result in the total reservation being charged.
Internet Bookings: If a booking needs to be cancelled and has been made on an internet site all cancellations must be cancelled through that site otherwise the credit card provided will be charged.
Additional charges:
- Missing or lost keys: $50 per card key
- Carpet cleaning $120 per room. Flood damage $500 minimum charge
- Damage to rooms: cost of repair or replacement and loss of income during repair/replacement period
- Breakages: cost of repair or replacement and loss of income during repair/replacement period
- Missing chattels: cost of replacement and loss of income until replaced
- Property returns: if you leave any of your possessions behind you will be requested to provide a prepaid, self-addressed envelope/courier bag
Unpaid accounts:
The Customer will be liable for the costs incurred by Auckland Airport Motel for the collection of any unpaid charges including legal costs between solicitor and client and any debt collection
COVID relation issues:
If your travel plans are affected by COVID related issues the best solution is to let us know as soon as possible. We are willing to work with all our customers as long as we find out before the day of your reservation.
Transport
4 ways to get to and from the Airport
1. Use our complimentary Shuttle Service between time times of 9am to 4pm
2. The Yellow Bus - $8 one way trip (children under 12 ride free)
3. Uber or ride sharing apps (preferred compared to Taxis due to more reliable and upfront pricing)
4. Private vehicle
Using our complimentary Shuttle Service
A complimentary/courtesy Shuttle service is provided free of charge Monday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm for people arriving and departing on flights when staying in motel. No Shuttle Service available from the 24th to 26th of December and 31st of December to the 2nd of January. The Shuttle cannot be pre-booked for pick-ups from the Airport. (You must ring and request a pick up, see below).

At peak times a wait may be incurred or drop off times required unavailable. This is a complimentary pick up and drop off service only to and from the airport only.
The shuttle service will not carry "cargo" ie surf boards, bikes, golf clubs or any large items other than personal suitcases. Guests are requested to make alternative arrangements to transport large items.
Should you require a Shuttle to return and pick up a vehicle stored at the Motel and you are not staying the night at the motel on your return a charge may apply.

The Yellow Bus
The Yellow Bus operates 24 hours a day (24/7) and is available to guests who purchase a ticket.
Tickets can be purchased on board the bus or at the Yellow Bus kiosk at the airport. Please note digital payments only; Paywave, contactless credit/debit cards, digital wallets (e.g. Google Wallet, Apple Pay).
From the Airport:
Present or purchase your ticket for the Yellow Bus and ask the driver to stop at Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel. Auckland Airport Motel is located approximately 100 meters from this stop, within easy walking distance.
Return to the Airport:
Present your pre-purchased ticket or purchase one on board the Yellow Bus when departing from Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel to return to the airport. Tickets can be pre-purchased at the airport kiosk.

Uber and similar ride sharing apps
Given the short distance a typical Uber fare is around $25-30 from Auckland Airport Motel to the Auckland Airport. During busy times or surge pricing, fares may increase significantly, sometimes up twice the usual rate.
Taxis near the Airport have become unpredictable whereas rideshare apps offer upfront pricing and greater consistency.

Parking
Free off street parking is available for each night you stay with us with CCTV security.
If you decide to leave your car while travelling elsewhere, it will incur an additional charge of $5.00 per day.
If a Shuttle is required upon returning to pick up a car and you, the guest/s, are not stay the night with us, there may to be an additional charge of $20.00.
